WELCOME TO INLINE HOCKEY

Inline Hockey is a fast and exciting game played in a similar fashion to Ice Hockey with a few key differences. The main one is that Inline Hockey is played on inline skates (or roller blades) on surfaces such as concrete, timber or on tiled floors specifically made for hockey. The beauty of being on roller blades is that you can practice anywhere, whether in your driveway or down at St. Kilda beach.

By definition Inline Hockey is non-contact, which greatly contributes to its low injury rate and also makes for a free flowing and fast paced game. The ‘non-contact’ factor lends itself to a different style of game to Ice Hockey with different rules and coaching strategies to ensure the games are quick and high scoring. As well as being fun to participate in, Inline Hockey is a great sport to watch.

Inline Hockey can be played by five year olds up to eighty year olds and is played with 4 players and a goalie on the rink per team at any one time with at least 4 players on the bench involve in rotation with the on floor players every 2 minute or so.

There are leagues specifically for beginners, women, mixed and elite, so everyone can play!
